BARRIO STROLL A walking tour explores the neighborhood of East Harlem. The architecturally focused stroll is presented in collaboration with the East Harlem Historical Organization. Friday, 2 p.m., meet at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Ave. at 104th Street, 212-534-1672 ext. 3393, $10 general, $6 seniors, members, students, and East Harlem residents.
QUEENS GARDENS A self-guided garden tour, organized by the Jackson Heights Beautification Group, allows participants to visit eight block-long gardens. The gardens are open to the public only one day a year. Saturday, noon-4 p.m., Community Church, 81-10 35th Ave., Jackson Heights, Queens, 718-565-5344, $10.
BROOKLYN BREWS A visit to the Brooklyn Brewery, complete with a free sample, caps off New York Like a Native’s tour of Williamsburg. Other highlights of the trip include stopovers at several art galleries and a look at the waterfront. Saturday, 1:30-4 p.m., meet at the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, 135 Broadway at Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 718-393-7537, $18.
