TEN SPEED Bite of the Apple Tours leads a two-hour Central Park Bike Tour that combines outdoor exercise with sightseeing. Stops include Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, the Shakespeare Garden, and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. Daily, 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m., 212-541-8759 for reservations and meeting place, $35 general, $20 children under 15, includes bike rental fee.
OVER THE RIVER Big Onion Walking Tours leads a Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights tour that heads over the bridge to Brooklyn from Manhattan. Stops include Henry Ward Beecher’s Plymouth Church and sites associated with Walt Whitman, Truman Capote, and Arthur Miller. Today, 1-3 p.m., meet at City Hall Park at the southeast corner of Broadway and Chambers Street, 212-439-1090, $15 general, $12 seniors, $10 students and members.
