This fall, Gourmet magazine is offering its third annual “foodie camp”: the Gourmet Institute. During this three-day program, dozens of top chefs, including Nobu Matsuhisa, Thomas Keller, Laurent Tourondel, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Gray Kunz, will give seminars, cooking demonstrations, and book signings.

“It represents the biggest talent pool at one place at one time,” said Gourmet’s associate publisher, Daria Fabian. “It allows people to get up front and personal with all of these chefs.”

Though the event is weeks away – October 21, 22, and 23 – organizers say the 350 tickets are going fast. The first to sign up get first pick of the demonstrations to attend. The event’s $1,350 price tag includes a private dinner at either BLT Steak, Cafe Gray, Chanterelle, or the Gotham Bar & Grill on Saturday night. A portion of the proceeds will go to the charity Citymeals-on-Wheels.
