CLEARFIELD, Pa. (AP) – A bus crashed on a highway in central Pennsylvania early Sunday, killing two people and injuring 31 others, authorities said.

The bus was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 when it crashed at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, state police said. It was not immediately clear what caused the accident or if other vehicles were involved.

Thirty-one people, ranging in age from a toddler to a 50-year-old, were taken to Clearfield Hospital, nurse manager Monica Smith said.

Six of the victims were in critical condition and were transferred to a hospital in Altoona, Ms. Smith said.
