The fiancee of an unarmed man killed in a hail of 50 police bullets plans to gather for prayer with an outspoken critic of police misconduct and others today before taking the stand on the first day of the trial of three undercover officers. Nicole Paultre-Bell will meet with the Reverend Al Sharpton and their supporters outside Queens Criminal Court before she testifies in the trial of the officers who killed Sean Bell, 23, as he sat in a car with two other men outside a strip club hours before he was to marry her, Rev. Sharpton said. Ms. Paultre-Bell, the mother of Bell’s two children, will recount loaning the car to her fiance hours before he went to the club when she takes the stand, expected this afternoon, Rev. Sharpton said.
