Investigators are searching for two men who held a 101-year-old woman hostage yesterday inside her Upper West Side home, police officials said.

At about 11:30 a.m. the suspects knocked on the door of the victim’s apartment at 100th Street and Columbus Avenue, and were let in by a caretaker, police said. Leaving the woman in her wheelchair, the suspects bound the caretaker with duct tape and locked her inside the bathroom, police said.

As the suspects searched the apartment, the woman’s 71-year-old son arrived, whom the suspects also bound. The suspects searched for about ten more minutes, and left empty-handed, police said.
