Veterans Call on Mayor To Create Services

The Coalition of Veterans Organizations and City Council member Hiram Monserrate are calling on Mayor Bloomberg to create and fund resource centers for veterans returning from conflict areas.
The centers would distribute information about housing, health care, job opportunities, and other services for veterans. Veterans groups have said it is difficult for veterans to access resources to help them adjust to civilian life.
