Cedric the Entertainer plays Jake, a regular guy who is left with a serious case of amnesia after being hit over the head by mysterious assailants. When he suddenly finds himself entangled in a topsecret government conspiracy, Jake and his pursuers begin to believe that he is actually an undercover agent who, whether he knows it or not, holds a valuable piece of information that could expose an arms deal involving the CIA and the FBI. Lucy Lio and Nicollette Sheridan co-star as the women Jake may be involved with.
HAPPILY N’EVER AFTER
PG, 87 minutes
Just as everything seems to be going smoothly in the animated Fairy Tale Land — where Cinderella is at the ball, Rapunzel is letting down her hair, and Prince Charming is preparing to kiss Sleeping Beauty — things go terribly wrong when the balance of good and evil is thrown out of whack.
The Wizard (George Carlin) who keeps the scales of good and evil balanced goes on vacation, and his inept sidekicks Munk (Wallace Shawn) and Mambo (Andy Dick) allow his magical staff to fall into the hands of Cinderella’s wicked stepmother, Frieda.
If Frieda is to be stopped from from sticking unhappy endings to all these famous tales, Cinderella (Sarah Michelle Gellar) will have to snap out of her romantic daze, stop Frieda (Sigounrey Weaver), and restore happy endings to all the stories in Fairy Tale Land. Along for the ride are a throng of dwarves, fairies, and other famous characters.
