CREATIVE PROCESS In the new exhibition and performance series Creative Atelier at Location One, a group of artists will spend seven days working to create clothes out of limited materials. The project, “Open Stitch,” culminates in a video montage of the workshop along with a display of the pieces that were created. The second part of the series is “Ignored in My Heaven,” a suite of dances inspired by dreams and performed by the Glen Rumsey Dance Project. STATE DEPARTMENT The gallery White Box presents “Another Expo,” curated by Shinya Watanabe. It includes work by artists from Tokyo, Sarajevo, and Okinawa whose work comments on world politics and the nation-state.
