EVOLUTION OF THE CITY Photographer Douglas Levere discusses the making of his book “New York Changing” (Princeton Architectural Press). Mr. Levere revisited the sites of 100 photographs taken by Berenice Abbott for her 1935 project “Changing New York.” The new book pairs Mr. Levere’s images with Abbott’s Depression-era photographs.
