SPIRITUALITY ON SCREEN Thirty short films that explore spiritual themes are screened as part of the God on Film festival. DIVORCE AND DANCE Mark Sandrich’s “Gay Divorcee,” screened outdoors as part of the Bryant Park Summer Film Festival, stars dancing duo Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. They waltz their way through the Cole Porter numbers “Night and Day” and “The Continental.” Next up is “Touch of Evil,” directed by Orson Welles (Monday, July 18). Tonight, lawn opens at 5 p.m., films begin at dusk, Bryant Park, Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd streets, 212-512-5700, free.
FILM AL FRESCO Socrates Sculpture Park’s open-air film festival, which devotes each night to a different ethnic group represented in Queens, presents Wim Wenders’s Cuban documentary “Buena Vista Social Club.” Wednesday, 7 p.m., Socrates Sculpture Park, 32-01 Vernon Blvd., Long Island City, Queens, 718-956-1819, free.
