PIXAR PIXELS A screening series of Pixar films includes “Toy Story” (today, 1 p.m.), “A Bug’s Life” (today, 3:30 p.m.), “Finding Nemo” (tomorrow,1 p.m.), and “The Incredibles” (tomorrow, 3:30 p.m.). Each screening is preceded by a Pixar short film.The series is presented in conjunction with exhibit “Pixar: 20 Years of Animation.” Today and tomorrow, Museum of Modern Art, 11 W. 53rd St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues, 212-708-9400, $10 general, $8 seniors, $6 students.
WESTERN ADVENTURE The Laurel and Hardy comedy “Way Out West” (1937) follows the bumbling duo as they head to Brushwood Gulch to deliver a deed to a gold mine. A highlight is a soft-shoe routine performed in front of a saloon. CINEMATIC COUPLES Two Boots Pioneer Theater offers a variety of eclectic double bills. Up next is “Akira Kurosawa: Malevolence and Swordfighting,” which consists of screenings of “Rashomon” and “The Seven Samurai (tomorrow, 6:30 p.m.).
