GRIEVING FOR LINCOLN
Today is the 140th anniversary of the shooting of Abraham Lincoln. A small display at the Merchant’s House Museum, which is devoted to 19th-century history, explores New York’s response to the assassination. “We Bear Thee to an Honored Grave” includes photography, first-hand accounts, and Lincoln memorabilia. Through Monday, noon-5 p.m., Merchant’s House Museum, 29 E. 4th St., between Lafayette Street and the Bowery, 212-777-1089, $8 general, $5 seniors and students, free for members and children under 12.
