HAPPY WISHES The Metropolitan Museum of Art will be closed on Christmas Day, but the museum’s Christmas tree will be on view throughout the holiday season. The tree is surrounded by a Neapolitan crèche, featuring Nativity figurines from the 18th-century. The tree is illuminated during daily lighting ceremonies. Through Sunday, January 7, Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m., lighting ceremonies, Tuesday-Thursday and Friday, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m., Met Museum, 1000 Fifth Ave. at 82nd Street, 212-535-7710, $20 donation suggested, $10 students and seniors, free for children and members.
