TREE TIME A 50-plus-foot Douglas fir tree is illuminated with thousands of twinkling white lights to kick off the holiday season. The event also includes the arrival of Santa Claus, musical performances by the Big Apple Chorus and the American Girl Theatre Company, an appearance by New York Knicks guard Jamal Crawford, and gift giveaways.
