Madame Vera performs works from her opera and song repertoire, along with new material and loopy diva anecdotes.The Dame Edna-esque act is performed by Ira Siff, who threatens that each year will be the last – this year, apparently, he means it. CELLO CLASSICS The Americas Society launches its Virtuoso Performers series with “Bach Meets Brazil,” a concert by Brazilian cellist Antonio Meneses.The program includes three of Bach’s six suites for unaccompanied cello.
