LONG LEGS, BIG VOICES The 17th annual Cabaret Convention, presented by the Mabel Mercer Foundation and Jazz at Lincoln Center, is a weeklong festival featuring performances honoring the American Songbook. The convention presents “Classic Cabaret Cross-Country,” featuring singers Stephanie Browning, Marilyn Maye, and Billy Stritch. Tonight, 6 p.m., Frederick P. GARDEN CONCERTO A guest conductor of the New York Philharmonic, David Robertson, leads the orchestra in Stravinsky’s violin concerto and “Dumbarton Oaks,” as well as Mozart’s Symphony No. 36. OK, CALCULATOR An experimental pop band, TV on the Radio, performs songs from its recent release “Return to Cookie Mountain,” which samples electronic, post-punk, and free jazz.
