WE HAVE LIFTOFF The American Museum of Natural History will screen the live broadcast of the launch of NASA’s New Horizons mission to blast off from Cape Canaveral and head to Pluto and its icy moon Charon. Once past Pluto, New Horizons will provide the first glimpse into the icy realm of the Kuiper Belt, the distant home of dormant comets. Tomorrow, 1 p.m. event begins, launch scheduled for no earlier than 1:24 p.m., American Museum of Natural History, Rose Center for Earth and Space, 79th Street and Central Park West, 212-769-5200, free.
