ROUGHS IN THE DIAMOND Paul Boocock’s one-man show “Boocock’s House of Baseball” includes the “redemptive stories” of diamond stars Derek Jeter, Reggie Jackson, Pete Rose, Jason Giambi, and Darryl Strawberry, along with a few political potshots and some physical comedy. Mr. Boocock is a member of the experimental theater troupe Elevator Repair Service. Mary Catherine Burke directs the Saribrett production. SEXUAL HEALING The solo show “Christine Jorgensen Reveals” is based on the story of America’s first famous transsexual. Bradford Louryk lipsynchs portions of Ms. Jorgensen’s only recorded interview. Josh Hecht directs the production, presented as part of the East to Edinburgh Festival. MORE MOORE Tony Award-winner Melba Moore’s one-woman show “Sweet Songs of the Soul” focuses on her life in music. The performance features songs by Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and Harold Arlen and is directed by Rhonda Passion.
