A man has died after being stabbed on a street in the West Village last night, police officials said.
Police, who did not identify the victim except to say he was 43 years old and black, said he had been involved in an argument with two other men at around 1:40 a.m. outside of 123 Washington Pl. At some point, one of the men stabbed the victim, and then the two suspects fled.
The victim was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where he died of his wounds at 2:14 a.m.
Police are searching for the suspects this morning.
