Teenager Killed in Triple-Victim Shooting in Flatbush

A teenage boy was shot in the head and murdered in a triple-victim shooting in Flatbush, and police were seeking the gunmen.


Eric Johnson, 15, of Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn, was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital at 8:47 a.m. yesterday. Johnson and two other victims were gunned down at 8:20 p.m. on Monday at the corner of Flatbush and Maple avenues by unknown suspects.


A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg and back and was in critical condition at the hospital. A 17-year-old boy was in stable condition after he was shot in the leg. There were no arrests and the investigation was ongoing.


POLICE SEEKING BROOKLYN SHOOTER


Police want to question a 21-year-old man in the weekend shooting of two innocent bystanders at Bedford-Stuyvesant.


Police did not refer to the man, Wayne Millington, as a suspect.


Two women, who were not the intended targets, were shot at 12:35 a.m. Sunday in front of 1244 Herkimer St., police said. A 46-year-old woman was shot through the neck. She was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition with a severed spinal cord.


A 38-year-old woman was shot in the hand and taken to the hospital in stable condition.


There had been no arrests and the investigation was ongoing.


QUEENS NIGHTCLUB SHOOTER ARRAIGNED


A Queens man who allegedly opened fire in a crowded Ozone Park nightclub, killing one victim and wounding three others, was arraigned yesterday, the Queens district attorney’s office announced.


Prosecutors said on September 4 at around 2:50 a.m., Michael Alexander,19, of South Ozone Park, Queens, entered the nightclub at 100-10 Liberty Avenue and opened fire, hitting four people.


He was apprehended several hours later, and yesterday was arraigned on charges of murder, attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.


Mr. Alexander was remanded without bail after his arraignment. The trial will continue on September 20.


QUEENS MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING WIFE


An 85-year-old man is suspected of beating his wife to death at their Flushing home, police said.


Police responding to a report of an assault at 146-51 28th Ave. at 10:05 a.m. yesterday found Francesca Pizzurro, 80, injured from blunt trauma to the head. Pizzurro was taken to New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, where she was pronounced dead at 11:16 a.m., police said. The victim’s husband, whom police did not identify, is considered a suspect and was taken to Queens Hospital for evaluation. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.


POLICE ARREST BROOKLYN STABBER


A man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his teenage girlfriend to death in her Brownsville home, police said.


Elisa Sidney, 28, of Brooklyn, was arrested yesterday morning in connection to the stabbing death of Alicia Cruz, 17, of 715A Madison St. Mr. Sidney was arrested at 4:30 a.m. without incident at an Econolodge.
