The Supreme Court tariff decision was a Swiss cheese in all respects. The rigor of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s dissent made it clear that the Republican appointees who deserted the president, Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch, flipped a legal coin.
