ON THE BOWERY Author Kim Taylor reads from and discusses her new book, “Bowery Girl” (Viking Juvenile), a tale of two young women who live in the city in the 1880s and are left to fend for themselves without family or education.Young readers in ninth grade and up are especially welcome.
