MYSTERIOUS APPEAL Kinka Usher’s “Mystery Men” (1999) is screened as part of the Onion Film Series, present ed by the satirical weekly. The film stars Greg Kinnear as Captain Amazing, a talented but unlikable superhero. When he is captured, his duties fall to a ragtag group of secondary saviors, played by Hank Azaria, Ben Stiller, and Paul Reubens. CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION The Museum of the Moving Image celebrates the centennial of the birth of Josephine Baker with a complete retrospective of her films. “Josephine Baker on Film” includes Baker’s three features, “Siren of the Tropics,” “Zouzou,” and “Princess Tam Tam,” as well as several short films. Highlights include the North American premiere of “La Revue des revues” and appearances by dancer and choreographer Geoffrey Holder and Baker’s son, Jean-Claude Baker.
