DAYTIME FILMS The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents a series of holiday screenings, featuring the films “Linnea in Monet’s Garden,” an animated journey through Monet’s garden in Giverny, France, and “Metropolitan Cats,” which explores the various ways felines are depicted throughout the museum’s collections. Additional films include “Great Frost,” an animated film based on Virginia Woolf’s story “Orlando,” about festivities that arise when the Thames River in London freezes over, and Dylan Thomas’s “A Child’s Christmas in Wales,” a filmed reading of the author’s story.
