The Taste of Times Square festival offers treats from more than 50 Midtown restaurants, from Applebee’s to Virgil’s Real Barbecue. The Upper West Side restaurant Calle Ocho will pour its 1-millionth mojito this week. In a nice excuse to partake of a few summer drinks, the lucky customer who orders the seven-figure cocktail will win a $1,000 gift certificate to the restaurant and a case of rum.
