SWEET, SWEET FANTASY “Romantic Fantasies: Mozart and Schubert” features a performance by pianist Jeffrey Siegel. Works include Mozart’s D Minor and C Minor Fantasies, and Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy. STUDENTS AT PLAY The Juilliard School’s graduate resident quartet, the Calder Quartet, performs a string program including a piece by a Juilliard faculty member, Christopher Rouse’s String Quartet No. 1, as well as Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 15 in E-flat Minor, and Beethoven’s String Quartet in E Minor, Op. 59, No. 2. MEMORIES OF SPAIN The Spanish ensemble Arboleras performs “Ladino” music, a blend of folk and traditional Hebrew, Middle Eastern, and Iberian sounds.
