VIVA LA REVOLUCION Novelist and journalist Pete Hamill joins writer David Gonzalez for a discussion on the life and times of Agustin Victor Casasola, a Mexican photographer who documented the country’s evolution during the first half of the 20th century, including the Mexican Revolution. The talk is presented in conjunction with the exhibit “Mexico: The Revolution and Beyond. Photographs by Casasola (1900-1940).” Above is a portrait of Emiliano Zapata (c. 1915), a leader in the 1910 revolution. At left is “‘Soldaderas’ and soldiers with the railway administrator, Mexico City, April 1913.” Talk: Tonight, 6:30-8:30 p.m., free.
