SURFING SAFARI Leroy Grannis’s photographs of the nascent surf culture during the 1960s and 1970s are on display at Bonni Benrubi Gallery. Along with the expected spectacular waves, he captures surfers out of the water, strolling the beach and posing with their colorful boards.
