TALK DIRTY


“Saturday Night Live” cast member Rachel Dratch performs in a staged reading of Elizabeth Meriwether’s “The Mistakes Madeline Made.” The play follows three personal assistants, living in close quarters, who are afflicted with ablutophobia – the fear of bathing. Evan Cabnet directs the reading, with a cast that also includes Austin Lysy, Susan Pourfar, and Zak Orth. The event is an installment of “Out Loud,” which produces readings of new plays by emerging playwrights. MILLER’S MEMORIES


The “Food for Thought” series stages lunchtime readings of one-act plays. Next week, Joan Copeland and Larry Bryggman read Arthur Miller’s “I Can’t Remember Anything,” about two elderly friends facing failing health and memory loss. Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. lunch, 1:30 p.m. reading, 3 p.m. reception, National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, between Irving Place and Gramercy Park West, 212-362-2560, $49. Note: The program will be repeated on Thursday, April 28.
