IMAGINATION VACATION
Edmonton’s Teatro la Quindicina presents Stewart Lemoine’s Off-Broadway play “Pith!” Set in 1931, the play seems to follow a sailor, a society widow, and her housekeeper into the South American jungle – but do they ever leave the living room? Chad Beckim’s first play, “A Matter of Choice,” addresses the construction of a Second Avenue subway line. When three roommates are forced to abandon their Manhattan apartment, they must choose between fighting or fleeing. John Gould Rubin directs the Partial Comfort production. LOVE AND THE DEVIL
“Faust in Love” is the second installment in Target Margin Theater’s three-year attempt to adapt Goethe’s “Faust.” David Greenspan plays Mephisto and Eunice Wong is Gretchen, the object of Faust’s affection. The artistic director of Target Margin, David Herskovits, directs.
