BURIED TREASURE Sam Shepard’s “Buried Child,” which won the 1979 Pulitzer Prize, is produced by the White Horse Theater Company. Set in rural Illinois farm country, it follows a family whose repressed calm is shattered by the arrival of two estranged relatives. Cyndy Marion directs. IN PRAISE OF POE Poe-fest, a festival of new plays, celebrates “the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe” – from musicals to monologues. The festival features seven different programs, comprised of one to three presentations.
