BEAUTIFUL BAY RIDGE Francis Morrone conducts a tour of Bay Ridge North, a neighborhood of mansions, row houses, and suburban cul-de-sacs. There are also large apartment blocks, including Ernest Flagg’s model development called Flagg Court. Stops include the “unsung treasure” Owl’s Head Park. The tour is presented by the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment. Saturday, 2-4 p.m., meet at Fourth and Bay Ridge avenues, street level of the Bay Ridge Avenue station of the R train, 718-788-8500 ext. 208, $11 general, $9 members, $8 seniors and students.
MANHATTAN MANSION A guided tour of Manhattan’s oldest house provides a look at its 11 period rooms decorated in styles from throughout its Colonial, Federal, and Empire histories. Saturday, noon-1 p.m., Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace, between 160th and 162nd streets, 212-923-8008, $5 general, $3.50 seniors, students, and members, reservations recommended.
