ON THE WATERFRONT The North River Historic Ship Society presents a day of boat tours that explore the rarely seen shipyards, container ports, and ships of New York’s “working waterfront.” Sailors can choose among tours exploring the waterways of New Jersey and Staten Island, Brooklyn, or the north end of the Hudson River. VIEW FROM ABOVE Those who climb to the top of the High Bridge Tower this weekend during an Urban Rangers tour can enjoy an unusual view of the city from a New York City landmark.
