WOMEN IN WASHINGTON SQUARE A walking tour explores the impact of “immigrant, radical, notorious women” – including factory workers, intellectuals, artists, and aristocrats – on the Washington Square neighborhood. Joyce Gold conducts the tour. Saturday, 1 p.m., meet at the Washington Arch, Fifth Avenue south of 8th Street, 212-242-5762, $12.
BEAUTIFUL BAY RIDGE Francis Morrone conducts a tour of Bay Ridge North, a neighborhood of mansions, row houses, and suburban cul-de-sacs. Stops include the “unsung treasure” Owl’s Head Park. The tour is presented by the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment. Saturday, 2-4 p.m., meet at Fourth and Bay Ridge avenues, street level of the Bay Ridge Avenue station of the R train, 718-788-8500 ext. 208, $11 general, $9 members, $8 seniors and students.
