Official: Cuba To Deport Man Wanted in New York

BOGOTA, Colombia — Cuba is deporting reputed drug kingpin Luis Hernando Gomez Bustamante to Colombia, which plans to extradite him to the United States, where he is wanted on a New York indictment, a government official said. The Colombian official said Mr. Gomez was expected to arrive in Bogota today before being extradited to America.

Mr. Gomez, accused of being a top boss of Colombia’s Norte del Valle cartel known by the alias Rasguno, is wanted on a U.S. indictment in New York on drug charges.
