It’s finally here. A French-born entrepreneur, Christiane Celle, last week opened a new children’s boutique, Calypso Kids Home, which features everything Calypso’s clientele have come to love about the luxury retailer. The fourth shop in New York to carry the Calypso banner, the kids’ concept store offers a range of must-have items, such as essentials for baby, furniture, clothing, and toys — all below one roof. High-end lines include apparel from Finger in the Nose and Judith Lacroix, and furniture items by ooba and Argington. Popular pieces include an Argington toddler bed ($475), skinny jeans for girls by Lit’l Earnie ($125), and Bonnie Baby cashmere sweaters ($130).The store also carries a range of items exclusively, among them a limited edition stuffed pup named “Sir Henry” and the latest in haute baby skin and hair care products from Noodle & Boo. Visit the store at 407 Broome St., between Centre and Lafayette streets, 212-941-9700. For more information, go to calypso-celle.com.
