MRI on Wade’s Wrist Shows No Damage
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade’s ‘s injured right wrist showed no structural damage in tests performed yesterday, and the team said its leading scorer was day-to-day.
Wade will be a game-time decision for the Heat’s home matchup Friday against New Jersey, the team said.
Wade was injured Wednesday in a loss at Chicago.
He was hurt midway through the first quarter as he came off a screen and Heat coach Pat Riley blamed Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich after the game, saying officials didn’t see Hinrich pull Wade’s hand.

Panthers QB Delhomme Upgraded to Probable
Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme practiced again yesterday and was upgraded to probable for the Panthers’ final regular season game at New Orleans.
Delhomme. who has been sidelined since suffering ligament damage in his right thumb against Philadelphia on December 4, will likely start Sunday against the Saints in a game the Panthers must win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
They also could be eliminated by the time they play if the Giants beat Washington Saturday night.
Coach John Fox said Delhomme suffered no setbacks after his first practice in more than three weeks on Wednesday. He again worked with the first team on Thursday, while wearing a protective glove on his throwing hand.
“He slung it around pretty good today,” Fox said.
Chris Weinke has struggled filling in for Delhomme in the past three games, although Carolina (7-8) beat Atlanta 10-3 last Sunday to stay alive in the playoff race.
