Season after season, Tracy Reese turns out some of the most wearable clothes for the workaday New York girl. Both of her labels – Tracy Reese and the lower-priced Plenty by Tracy Reese – keep a fresh sense of femininity in the air.
For Spring 2006, the Tracy Reese collection will keep that style up with influences: The look is Gibson Girl-meets-“Pretty Baby.” Materials will include lace, tiered ruffles, and appliques. Colors will evoke the South: walnut, pecan, carnations, and mint-julep green.
Ms. Reese’s talent for creating her own prints will also be present in this collection, with bold field florals and retro prints on silk.
Tracy Reese and Plenty are sold at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and Scoop.
