ODE TO DEPARDIEU Francois Truffaut’s “Le dernier metro” (The Last Subway) (1980), about a Jewish director who hides in a theater basement in occupied Paris, is screened as part of a tribute to Gerard Depardieu. Aboveground, the director’s wife, an actress, stars in a new production with a handsome leading man.
