On the left, Giuseppe “Giuseppi” Conte and Elly Schlein persistently agitate to undermine Signora Meloni’s governing coalition, including turning a blind eye to extremist Islamic fundamentalists.According to the Jerusalem Post, “The report concludes that organizations affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood are actively working to appropriate the principal representation of the Muslim community in Italy while sidelining more moderate organizations, primarily through control over mosques and educational institutions.”A former paratrooper, Roberto Vannacci, is attempting to outflank Prime Minister Meloni from the right. General Vannacci’sFuturo Nazionale party has surged past 100,000 registered members. He contends that Signora Meloni and her administration are insufficiently right-wing — an assertion that is askew of the facts.Signora Meloni stands peerless — both domestically and internationally — in terms of geopolitical acumen, vision, and economic credentials. She governs in the mold of Ronald Reagan. Consider her recent remarks to the General Assembly of Enterprises regarding tax cuts: “We don’t intend to stop; we want to do more to reduce the tax burden on the middle class.”As Ansa reported, “The Meloni government reduced the second bracket of the IRPEF income tax for earnings between 28,000 and 50,000 euros from 35 percent to 33 percent in the 2026 budget law.”“Others talk about taxing wealth,” said Signora Meloni “but we are working to ensure that Italians can aspire to wealth after decades of sacrifice.”Regarding Iran, Signora Meloni asserted that if “Tehran continues down the wrong path, threatening freedom of navigation, carrying out attacks, supporting militias, and violating international obligations, then the European Union must be ready to increase pressure, including through new targeted measures.”Signora Meloni has also instructed her defense minister, Guido Crosetto, to discuss key military issues with the American secretary of war, Pete Hegseth, during their bilateral meeting in Washington on June 15.According to Decode 39, “Italian officials frame this approach as an effort to strengthen the European pillar of the alliance without weakening ties with the United States.”Furthermore, Italy is poised to expand the frontiers of space exploration under Giorgia Meloni’s leadership.NASA has selected an Italian ESA astronaut, Luca Parmitano, who bears a striking resemblance to Star Trek’s Captain Jean-Luc Picard, as pilot of the Artemis III mission aiming to return humanity to the moon for the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972.Signor Parmitano, who hails from Paternò, Sicily, has spent 366 days in space across two long-duration International Space Station missions, conducted six spacewalks totaling more than 30 hours, and served as ISS commander.
