A man found dead yesterday in Prospect Park, with evidence of head trauma, may have been murdered. Authorities said a park officer found an unconscious man, in his 40s or 50s, near Lookout Hill on 16th Street and Prospect Park Southwest at 8:15 a.m., with lacerations to the back of his head.
The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the identity and cause of death today.
A representative for the Prospect Park Alliance said they weren’t aware of any missing people but were working to assist the police.
