A Queens couple has been charged with the statutory rape and sexual assault of two 15-year-old girls whom they met on MySpace.com, the Queens District Attorney, Richard Brown, announced yesterday.
Julio Rojas, 31, and Sophie Soto, 22, who both allegedly worked part-time as strippers, brought the two girls on one occasion to a Manhattan strip club, where the victims stripped and performed sex acts before several patrons performed oral sex on them, according to the complaint filed in Queens Criminal Court.
The suspects allegedly met the girls, who Mr. Brown called “obviously troubled,” in mid-November 2006 on the social networking Web site, MySpace.com. The couple allegedly committed multiple sexual crimes against the teenagers between February and May of last year, according to the complaint.
