Man Shot, Killed in Brooklyn, Police Say

A man was fatally shot in Brooklyn yesterday capping off an unusually violent day across the city.

The victim was shot by two bullets to the chest at about 11:15 a.m. in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, police officials said.

Early yesterday three men were stabbed in an incident in front of a nightclub in the Astoria section of Queens, police said. One victim was in critical condition with stab wounds to the neck and chest. The two others suffered minor wounds.

In a non-fatal incident, an unidentified man was shot in the lower back yesterday at about 12:30 on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, police said.
