VIEWS OF ITALY “Irresistible Italy,” a series of “architectural photo-assemblages” by Leon Yost, is on display in Chelsea. Each work features several hand-printed color photographs of a particular place – its interior, exterior, and decorative details. Mr. Yost captures cathedrals, palaces, and crypts in cities from Palermo to Venice to Florence. SCENE AND HEARD The first part of the three-part exhibit “View Nine: I Love My Scene” is on view at Mary Boone Gallery. Curated by the head of Team Gallery, Jose Freire, it includes such wide-ranging work as photography by Weegee, an ink drawing by Pablo Bronstein, and sculpture by Lothar Hempel.
