IDEAS IN MOTION Notes in Motion presents a dance theater event for children and families. The program begins with a 45-minute interactive performance, “Dances Are Built From Movement Ideas.” The performance is followed by three workshops in drama, dance, and visual art, which will build on themes from the performance. Sunday, 2-3:30 p.m., the Philip Coltoff Center at Greenwich Village, 219 Sullivan St., between Bleecker and West 3rd streets, 212-995-9446, $10 family, $5 individual, free for teachers.
