GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING The storytelling organization the Moth hosts its annual holiday StorySlam competition. The theme is gifts, from fruitcake to new cars. All are welcome to bring their best stories to recount on stage. Each story should be five minutes long, no notes are allowed, and organizers say contestants should stick to the theme and tell a story with both a conflict and a resolution. Tonight, 7 p.m. doors open, 7:30 p.m. stories, the Bitter End, 147 Bleecker St., between Thompson Street and La Guardia Place, $6.
