A THREE-HOUR TOUR Guide Paul Rush of the New York Open Center explores art galleries, points out unique cast-iron architecture, and offers historical tidbits during his walking tours of SoHo and NoLita (Saturday) and Old Greenwich Village (Sunday). Both tours: 10 a.m.-1 p.m., both tours meet at the New York Open Center, 83 Spring St. between Broadway and Lafayette Street, 212-219-2527, $20.
ON THE WATERFRONT The Brooklyn Historical Society offers hour-long boat tours of the borough’s “working waterfront” each Saturday this summer. Passengers enjoy views along the East River while sailing between Brooklyn’s Fulton Ferry Landing and the South Street Seaport. Saturdays through August 27, 11 a.m. pickup at South Street Seaport, Fulton and Water streets, 11:05 a.m. pickup at Fulton Ferry Landing, the foot of Old Fulton Street, Brooklyn, 212-742-1969, $20 general, $18 members, $14 children under 12, $12 children of members.
