Super Bowl spreads are usually dominated by spicy, salty, and savory snacks. By the third quarter, though, parched or sobbing fans might need something sweet to taper off on. Krispy Kreme has created football-shaped doughnuts to celebrate the Super Bowl. Topped with chocolate and vanilla frosting, the doughnuts can be customized with icing to reflect team colors. They can also be filled with various creams and jellies for an extra $1 a dozen. Keep in mind that orders need to be made 48 hours in advance for amounts of two-dozen doughnuts or over, especially if you want filled or colored doughnuts.
