AFTER CAFÉ GRAY
The owners of A Voce will be taking over the space at the Time Warner Center that will be vacated by Café Gray (10 Columbus Circle at 58th Street, 212-823-6338) at the end of June. The owners of the Italian restaurant A Voce (41 Madison Ave. at 26th Street, 212-545-8555) plan to open a second location of the Italian restaurant at the Time Warner Center early next year.
A BIT OF BELGIUM
Le Petit Belge is slated to open tomorrow in the space that once was Tavalon Tea Bar (22 E. 14th St. at University Place, 212-807-7027). Owner Greg Galal said it will sell high-end chocolates and other Belgian delicacies.Tavalon’s teas will also be available.
SLOPE TACOS
Barrio (210 Seventh Ave., between 2nd and 3rd streets, Brooklyn, 718-965-4000) is open and serving Mexican food in Park Slope. Owner Spencer Rothschild, a Brooklyn resident who also is a partner in Manhattan eateries Django and BLT Prime, said that he wants to keep the cuisine in his restaurant Mexican, rather than Tex-Mex or Southwestern. Chef Adrian Leon is a veteran of Rosa Mexicano.
OUTDOOR BITES
Picnick, pastry chef Will Goldfarb’s pair of sandwich kiosks in Battery Park, has opened for the season.
BYOB, TOUT de SUITE
Benoit (60 W. 55th St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues, 646-943-7373), Alain Ducasse’s new classic French restaurant, hopes to have a liquor license later this week, but at the moment it does not. For now, it’s BYOB.
